GSBC Bleacher Report is highlighting a different graduate from GSBC every week. This week, we are highlighting Bro. Tim Trieber!

Bro. Tim, as he is referred to by many, grew up in a pastor kid’s home in Santa Clara, CA. He attended NVBS through high school and graduated in 2001. He played basketball throughout high school and finished in the Top 5 overall in total points scored at NVBS. In the fall of 2001, he started attending GSBC. He graduated in 2005 and once again finished in the Top 5 in total points scored in GSBC basketball history! (This was before the GSBL) After he graduated, he started interning as the youth pastor of NVBC. In 2006, it was official—Bro. Tim became the youth pastor of NVBC! In 2009, he married his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Trieber. Currently, they have 3 boys with a baby girl on the way. In 2016, Bro. Tim felt the Lord leading him to go into church planting. He answered the call and is currently raising support to go to Surprise, Arizona to start a church!

In his time at NVBC as the youth pastor, he had an incredible impact on MANY teenagers here in Santa Clara as well as around the world! His impact stretched farther than his Jerusalem! He determined to let his light shine in Judaea, Samaria AND the uttermost parts of the earth! At GSBC Bleacher Report, we have several columnists and analysts who were directly impacted in a positive way by Bro. Tim! We definitely appreciate his faithfulness to the Lord!

On top of his youth pastoring and soon-to-be-pastoring, Bro. Tim traveled in the US preaching in youth camps, youth conferences and many churches! He has preached hundreds upon hundreds of messages and has seen thousands come to know the Lord as their Saviour! Bro. Tim made a decision a long time ago that he was going to serve the Lord with his life FOREVER! We are thankful that Bro. Tim has stepped out by faith to answer the calling of God in Surprise, Arizona! He is missed at NVBC, GSBC and NVBS; but we all know Bro. Tim and his family are going to do great and mighty things for the Lord!
